Arrow Flagstaff 8528RKWS

We have ordered a 8528RKWS and are waiting for delivery. We live in Alberta Canada and all of the units are pulled up from Indiana. Ours was to arrive a couple of weeks ago but we have been told that the dealership here in Canada is having difficulty getting people to haul them up here.

I have read all of the posts and I will have to wait to see how our truck will handle the unit when it arrives. Weights seem to vary considerably from unit to unit, we will have to see what is displayed on our unit.

Thank you folk for all of the input and I will try to keep you'folks informed

Rabbit, did you order the atrium windows?
I think you are going to love your new camper.
Enjoy!

What exactly are atrium windows. The brochure has a very small drawing, but no details.

Atrium means large open space. Atrium windows are windows that run from the floor to the ceiling of the living room / dinette slide. They esentially give you a picture window wall , lots of light and visibility from the unit and create an area that appears large and open.

Pretty nice, I hope ours looks as good as yours does. A picture is worth a thousand words.

We are towing our 2012 8528 RKWS back to California from Walcott Iowa as Iam typing! Tows great! We have the new F150 Eco boost. Tows great! I would recommend the Reese Sidewinder with air cusion and consider adding Firestone air springs to level the load.

Have you had any issues with the folding step opening while towing. We had high winds and some minor bouncing, but not enough that the steps should have come down. I tied them up for now. Thought?

Ours have never moved, although I wonder if they may have changed the style. We were at an RV show a month back, and I couldn't believe how crappy most steps were in relation to the one on ours. Most steps on comparable campers seemed terribly flimsy and flopped back and forth when climbing into the campers. Ours are rock solid, and heavy.

Our dealer advised us not to grease the steps. When lubricated, they have been know to fold out when travelling. A little rust in this case is good.
