2012-21FBRS and Chevy 1500/4.8 V8

Had to upgrade the Silverado with a K&N air flow system and B&M high-volume transmission cooler. Taking a long trip from Arkansas to the Grand Canyon in 90 + degree weather. Transmission temperature running 185 to 200 depending on Hills. Not real comfortable with these temperatures. Any comments on this?

From my perspective those temps are what I would expect to see in normal towing. Transmission coolers are a great addition but I feel a mistake is folks add coolers without first ensuring their stock cooling system is clean and operation as it should. JMHO

Thanks, I had the transmission serviced and flushed when I added the cooler
