Seems like Forest River needs better glue suppliers, we had a glue problem with the floor in our 2017 Wildcat. They ended up replacing our unit with a 2018, so far so good.

It’s amazing how many old corrugated aluminium trailers are out there and still kicking. Dh didn’t like that look so we’ve had these new type. When looking into extended warranties, I found in the fine print delamination wasn’t covered, and that is my main worry. We had azdel on the Apex and I thought it was on the Mini Lites. Fingers crossed.

Shocked NO class action lawsuit
I am shocked no class action lawsuits have been file against RV Manufacturing Companies for the delamintion of Rvs they know there is a problem. You get less for your trade as the dealer thinks it will or is delaminting. They need to step up and do what is right.

So, does anyone have feedback from FR indicating how long this bad batch of glue was in use?
Thanks!

Thanks for the info. You've saved me a lot of worry, although I'll still be watching for delimitation.

I'm in the Albuquerque area as well (Belen to be specific). I got a 2018 21DS in February and I am not seeing that issue yet that I have noticed. I have noticed this unit is made very cheaply. I am going to take mine back to Chisolm trail in the winter months to get things fixed on it. My A/C doesn't work well at all and the thermostat on the heater has too much of a dead and (the heat comes on and stays on for too long and turned off when its too warm in the trailer, but then doesn't start up until it is too cold.. I dont know if that is how they all are, but I will tell this to the people at Chisolm trail and see what they can do. Hopefully I can get everything straightened out. How do y'all like the 21DS? We should start a New Mexico thread or something so we can all stay connected!

I’m going to have to check the fine print on my extended warranty for that exclusion.

Thought I would post a quick update to my lamination issue.
I dropped my TT off 1/1/19 and got it back on 1/22 so it took 3 weeks in all. To my surprise when I got my trailer back I noticed they replaced my torn awning and replaced my electric jack with a better one. Overall the job they did is great, it looks like a new trailer. My bumper, jacks and tongue were re-painted, lamination looks great and overall very happy with the entire process. My local RV dealership even washed it for me and detailed the inside. Thank you to Forest River and Chisolm Trailer (ABQ) for doing a fantastic job.
