Just bought a 19 model. Still getting to know it but it's great floorplan and tows well with my 16 silverado crew cab 5.3 tow package(not max tow).

We bought ours last November and spent three days in it bringing it home. We weren't looking for a new trailer! We went to a local shop to get a new roof vent for our old TT when we decided to "browse the lot"..... This is corny as can be, but it was love at first site for both of us! My wife loved the floor plan and the room for our grown kids to join us. I liked the fiberglass exterior, frameless windows and solid roof that will reduce my maintenance time. It is only 1 foot bigger than our old unit but feels huge. Ours comes out of winter storage in three weeks and we can't wait! Have fun and enjoy!

Just bought a 2019 and have customized it considerably. Love it and much better than the Grand Design 2800 BH

2018 27bhws

In the 18 months that we have owned our 27BHWS, we have taken it to the mountains of Vermont and New Hampshire, the beaches of Cape Cod and down to the Florida Keys. We love it! It tows very easily with our 1/2 ton Ram Ecodiesel. We have attended numerous camping shows and have not seen another camper that would fit our needs as well as this does.

The one thing that I regret with our purchase is not having the dealer replace the Castle Rock tires with either Goodyear or Michelin tires. On our way down to the Florida Keys I scraped a curb and one of the tires blew out. I've towed lots of trailers (and scraped lots of curbs) and never had this happen before. We put on the spare and continued to Florida where we had a tire store replace all four tires with Goodyears.

We've had a few minor issues, but nothing of any significance. It's a well-built trailer that should provide years of enjoyment.

We have a 2018 bought in July of 2017 and for a family of 5 it fits all of our needs. We like the large shower and the slide out closet in the bedroom, it has tons of storage. We have taken it from Indiana to Florida, a trip to Yellowstone, to Tennessee, plus camping in the state in between. I thought the tires were good until this last trip I inspected them and they are all 4 separating out. I would suggest either switching them out when you buy or after 1 year. Good Luck!

Hitch Height?

As I mentioned, our 27BHWS is in storage right now. Over the winter, we bought a new truck that is taller and I will need to adjust the hitch. Can anyone that has access to their trailer share the hitch height? Thanks!
