2019 Flagstaff 26FKBS

Hello all,
I am new here, I do have an rv, it is not a forest river product. I am interested in this model and would like some feedback on it and what you tow it with, any insight /advice would be great. Thanks

Well, I cannot exactly help you but...DE and I purchased a 2019 25RKS in March and absolutely love it. While we’ve made some minor additions, there has been no problem with towing, setup, or any aspect of use while camping. We have used it 7 trips - 24 nights so far. We tow it with a 2013 Chevy Avalanche. Due to the age and mileage, it sometimes feels that I’m on the edge of comfort power-wise when towing on hills. That said, we have no plans to upgrade our tow vehicle.

Welcome!
We need to know what you're towing with and its specs.

What's the payload capacity, from the driver's door yellow Tires and Loading sticker?
It'll say something like "Occupants and cargo should not exceed xxxxlbs"

1680 lbs
I have weighed everything I take for a 12 day trip approximately 1000 kms one way
55 lbs in box, 350 lbs in trailer. That's dishes, ladder, cookware, tools, clothes, bikes condiments. I travel light.

The fictional dry tongue weight of that TT, is around 800lbs. That's without the weight of batteries, options, dealer add-ons, water and cargo.
Actual loaded tongue weight will easily be over 1000lbs.
That leaves you 680lbs for everyone in the truck(including the driver) and cargo in the truck. Also if you've added things like a truck bed topper or bed mat.

That's why I asked if anyone here has this trailer and what their using as a TV. The trailer I have now is slightly less in weight but has the advantage of the wide stance axles.

Smile Yes, we have Flagstaff 26fkbs

Yes, we have Flagstaff 26fkbs. We purchased it in December 2019. We Love it, we pull it with a 2006, 250 chevy with no problem. We drove from So Cal to Chico, CA and back without any issues at all. This is our 4th RV, so far this year we have camped 12 nights with more planned. We would buy this trailer again.

Love the tt. Great space. We hate the bed.Try getting into the bed before you buy it, There is a storage compartment along each side of the bed, The only way you can get on and off the bed its to crawl on it from the foot of the bed, We have a 2018/20 We are ready to trade it in

Stickman, Our 26FKBS has little side table on each side, no storage compartments any where. Our bed is very easy to get in and out of. Are you sure it is a 26 FKBS?

Have you advertised your trailer in the Classified section of the Forum?
