21 fbrs a/c ?

I was wondering if the 13.5 btu ac is big enough for this model. We are thinking this may be our next trailer. We had the dealer plug it in a couple hours before we got to the lot and the unit just didn't seem to be very cool inside. It was around 93 degrees that day. We are thinking if we order one we might need to upgrade to the 15 btu ac. Thanks for any help in advance.

It was plenty for us. We had it snowing in ours one summer.

the rule of thumb is one ton of AC for each 500 square feet 15K equals about 1 ton I would think the 13K would do the job but if the cost is not allot I would go with the 15K

We had a 15K in our 2104S. Nearly identical trailer. I don't think it really made much difference but, at the time, getting ducted air required it.

I put a 15k in our Rockwood 1905, got a great deal. Amazing! We live in southern indiana. I traded my 1 year old unit for a scratch and dent uninstalled unit for $250. Unit issue was stripped mounting hole. I retapped and bingo. An authorized repair agent in shipshiwanna IN cut me the deal.

The 13.5k cools our 2109s perfectly fine. You won't have any problems.

Thanks for all the input guys. We are wanting this to be our next trailer but not getting a lot of love on our Jayco on trade in. I will keep you posted if we move forward.

If you get a 15K and you're going to use a generator, make sure it can handle it. I had a previous camper with a 13.5k and my Honda 3000 ran it with no problems. Then I got a camper with a 15K AC and the Honda 3000 keep popping off so I upgraded the generator. Now my current camper came with a 13.5k. It's just a tad larger then the 21FBRS and cools the camper just fine.

If I recall, I did power comparison. The 15 was equal to slightly less I believe. Surprised me

Yes a 15k requires no less then a 3500 what generator.
A 13.5k only requires a minimum of 2500 watts.
