Inside the coach, you have 3 drawers under the bed, and above those is a nice place to put a bunch of light stuff. A real bonus for storage. You do have to lift the end of the bed to access it, but the two shocks, one on either side, hold the bed up.
Unfortunately, the shocks can go bad. They are not terribly expensive, and if you catch it without tearing out the mounting screws, its not hard to replace. I used wood filler to fill in the tear holes and sanded it, then ordered a new part from manufacturer. Works great now.
