Everyone has their apples and/or oranges. Personally I prefer a little grease for less squeak which comes with a little less friction. I guess that could apply to A LOT of different things eh?

Chuck - I did check (but did not have ime to measure) the side-to-side level of the trailer and as far as I can eyeball it is level, despite a fridge full of food and the sofabed full of bedding and the counter extension stowed in it. On the other hand my under-dinette storage is full of stuff so that should restore some balance side-to-side. Pantry on the curb side was also full, so the trailer's centre of gravity is probably pretty close to the centreline.

I went by the dealer and measured one on the lot. 3 1/4" clearance. I spoke to Dexter and she believes they are failing so it looks like new axles will be on order.

Look what I managed to do today

Today when I was retracting the wardrobe slide I heard a horrible crunching noise -

Luckily it is just the door that is gone - no apparent damage to the fascia for the wardrobe. I just need to get a door and all will be good again. I am thinking that I won't reinstall the strut that keeps the door open. That way whenever I need access to the cupboard I will have to consciously hold it up with one hand as will naturally want to fall into the closed position. No chance of shearing it off again.

Ouch Wayne. Did you accidentally leave the cabinet open or did it open on its own?

May the lessons of a few be the lessons of our own without the pain of actually going through it.

Good to hear that but sorry to hear that the axles are bad. Where will all of this end.

On my side, the radio was replaced under warranty but they (dealer) managed to break the bezel so they ordered one for me and I will pick it up tomorrow. As for the oven not staying on problem - after they changed the manifold and that did not cure it, the dealer says that they are talking to Suburban about replacing the entire stove-oven unit.

On a great note - we again passed through some heavy sustained rain and there were no leaks in the trailer. There was a couple of spots where there were constant drips outside, at the joint between the side of the trailer and the awning - a foot ahead of the forward outside speaker. No where else along the awning did it leak except there. I will have to go up and have a look at what can be done.

That said, this trailer was a great place to wait out a 5 hour Texas thunderstorm. I just wanted to jump back into bed and sleep to all that rice rain banging on the roof.

Oh no, the fault was entirely mine. That cupboard is where I keep my CPAP bag so after I pulled out the bag I left it open and then forgot it.

27RLWS

My awning wall leaks in the same place. Was told there is a seam up there that may have to be sealed. Someone said it was pretty common. As they say "it happens". I can't get all upset about it but it does keep my mind off of everything.
