We haven't been camping yet, but I think I will run our microwave through a few cycles tomorrow and see what happens.

That sounds like another option. I was going to splice into the wire leading to the outlet in the side of the counter in the hallway. Should be easier but your solution sounds a little neater besides I don't have to cut any existing wires. Just that this is a working RV and the cupboards are full of pots and pans etc.

Please do me a favour and light the oven and wait until it reaches temperature (say 350 deg.F), then see if the pilot light is extinguished after the burner goes out (having reached temperature). That is what happens with my oven and one of the reasons it has to go in to the dealership for warranty work.

I will light it tomorrow and let it run for a little while @ 350 and see what happens.

We had used it probably 15-20 times before with no problems. Tried to use it today and hear all kind of arcing going on and smoke. Took it out of the cabinet and unplugged it I'll call the dealer Monday.

We pick ours up tomorrow morning at the dealer. Guess I will have him test the oven and microwave in the walk through.
