Sitting at the dinette in ours having a coffee about 700 miles from home at the top or North of Lake Superior. Likely will wear the tires for a while before changing them. Hate to throw away new tires but sure hoping we don't blow one. Got about 1000 miles on them now.

I paid about $400.00 for a new set of Maxxis tires which I find a whole lot cheaper than several thousands of dollars of damage caused by one blowout. I changed my Harley Davidson tires every year whether they needed them or not as I put a lot of miles on those babies in a year.
Now that's not to say the originals will blow out or that the new ones won't blow out but I like newer rubber under the trailer and pulling through the mountains can be a real bitch if you get a blow out because there is no place to pull over. You could end up with miles of unhappy tourists in a real short time.

30 amp issues......

We are about to order a 27RLWS and was wondering if anyone has had issues with only having 30 amps available?
Would there be power enough to power both a 15k AC and say a convection microwave?

I have run both together before and not tripped any breakers.

We've owned our 27RLWS since Feb. '15. Only once when camping in Lockhart Tx did we have any issue. We had the AC, water heater, tv, DVDs player two cell phones and a laptop plugged in and running. The AC compressor stopped running and although the unit was still blowing air it was no longer cold air. Took me a minute to figure out that we had too many things running at once. Once we backed off on the load the AC worked fine. We never tripped a breaker though.

I leave my water heater on propane to save the electrical load; have never even turned it on elect.

My water heater heats up within ten minutes and stays hot for about 24 hours. I always use the campground electric when I can since I am already paying for it. If we are cooking with the microwave and running the AC which is fairly common here in florida we will cook on an electric skillet hooked to the additional 20 amp outlet on the campground box.

You can run both but when the compressor kicks on it may blow the breaker. I had it happen a few times but it's really not that big a deal. Obviously a 50 amp is better but 2 ac's in this model generally is over kill. That being said we camped on the 4th of July with no shade and it was warm in the camper but we spend most of the day outside under the awning and sunscreen attached to the awning. Other than that weekend, the ac will freeze your ace off. We have the emerald package with the 15,000 btu ac.

I have a 2015 27Rlws and I can't get the AC to cool our unit down. We are in the Corpus Christie area today but had the same issue in Lockhart. The unit runs nonstop and doesn't seem to be blowing very cool at all. I'm not sure what to do.

We have blown fuses a few times, but that is based on all of the stuff we use. I wish the system came with 50 amps. I tried to press them to see if it could be ordered that way, but they said the manufacturer would not and said 30 should be more than enough. Usually if the breaker trips its due to running any combination of 3 (ac / water heater / hair dryer / curling iron / microwave / Kuerig Coffee Maker). Otherwise we usually are in great shape....We have been very happy with ours...
