Wondering if you got the larger size? Ours is only about 2" across. There are different sizes. We may have lost 1" on opening of door.

Mine is also about 2" across but is about 1-1/2" thick. In the Walmart I went to there was only this size there. Maybe I will look for a smaller one rather than cutting this one down. Either way having a bumper there does wonders for my peace of mind.

Picking up our 2015 27rlws Emerald Edition tomorrow! Unpacked the old trailer completely this week. Now to find a new home for things in the new one. Can't wait for our 1st camping weekend in September......for now, we'll 'driveway camp'.

We put the toilet paper holder in the cabinet below the sink and mounted it to the door of the cabinet. Used shorter screws. Out of sight!
Towel rack did not hang. I bought one that is made to go over a door and it hangs over the shower door. Has 3 hooks and hangs 3 towels or wash rags....

Yup. The little towel holder was mounted to the right of the bathroom sink by the dealer (a little show bling). It didn't last long there and pulled out. Don't attach anything to the walls in the bathroom as the screws won't hold. There are options that WMoses can explain. We prefer the old fashion way...towels over the shower and toilet paper on the counter. When the mission is accomplished, the tp goes back in the cabinet.
Keep a close eye on your water filter in the front. Check earlier in this thread for that issue. As a matter of fact, read the entire thread as it has great ideas and necessary mods for your camping pleasure.

This weekend is the hottest we've had yet this summer, and we're spending it in our new 27RLWS trying to figure out where to put things! We can't run the AC at home. No major problems with the pick up of the new TT. Just a few things here and there. We've got a running list. Most are just for personal preference.....and hubby can do the work. Just a few things dealer related.

One thing we noticed today. Our couch is not an airbed! It just folds out and appears to be a queen size. Anyone else have that?? We were expecting the air mattress type, since that's what we've seen now for a few years.

Trailer pulled home very nicely! Off to Menard's for things we "need" for the trailer!

Is your couch a traditional residential style with an innerspring mattress that unfolds?

No.......it unfolds and ends up that your feet would be on the seat cushions of the couch, and your torso is on a foam? cushion, and your head is on a smaller foam cushion that's revealed when unfolded. It works pretty easy, but it just totally unexpected. I guess we're not that disappointed since we've also heard of problems with the air mattress type.

One other plus that we found is that the 2 rear windows open!! The 2014's on the lot did not open at all. They don't open far, maybe 3", but it's airflow.

That would be easier to set up than an air bed

Our DS has slept on the jack knife sofa for 2 seasons and never complained it was uncomfortable so yours should probably be equally fine.

We used our air mattress for the first time last weekend when my daughter and granddaughter spent time with us during our just-concluded road trip to see them in So.Cal.

The air mattress inflated and deflated with ease using the built-in pump and was easy to put away and set up. I cautioned the girls that there was to be no sharp objects on the bed and they said that it was nice and flat and even more comfortable than their beds at home.

I'd be interested to see a photo of this three-section fold-out bed of yours, seashel.

One thing we've found not working in the new TT is the charging station outlet. It has 2 USB ports and a 'car charger' outlet. Any ideas of something simple to check before it becomes a dealer problem? The radio and outlets near the charging outlets all work. It's just the USB that's not working.

I would unscrew the faceplate and pull it out, exposing the wires, then I'd use a multi-tester to check for current at the USB ports if there were no obvious disconnected wires, etc.

Now I have not done this myself because I have never used the USB ports so I don't know what is behind the faceplate.

Seashel29, I found this video of a KZ Spree model TT that probably has the same unfolding sofa as in your new Flagstaff. All RV manufacturers use the same component manufacturers so FR is likely using the same sofa manufacturer as KZ. Is it the same as yours?

Nope.......our sofa is different than that. I haven't had a chance to take a pic of it yet. We don't have to fold out the foot bars. The one in the video is pretty nice though.

I disagree with the guy in the video who says it's the nicest sofa in the RV industry. That sofa has 3 segments at 3 different heights. I wouldn't want to sleep on that. I would much prefer the air mattress that mine has. Even surface and good support. And the inflating and deflating is not an issue except when salesmen are trying to pitch the RV they are looking to sell.
