27RLWS couch replacement

I have a 2015 27RLWS and the couch is just horrible. I want to replace it with new recliners. Has anyone removed the couch? Any ideas for suitable replacement furniture? I like the idea of two recliners but also like the theater seating couch.

Hey Blastman, to be honest I do. Not know that number. My hitch was setup by the dealer. My trailer is in storage as well. Sorry amigo.

We have a 2013 27 RLSS - dislike the dinning table. Any suggestions on stablizing the table?
We don't mind our couch, but is interested in the out come of replacing it.

FYI,

I looked into doing this last year and it would be a major job. More than likely you will have to remove the slide to have enough room to remove and install different seating. My wife still asks me about doing it, and I remind her about the amount of work involved. If someone can figure out an easy way to do it, I would be all in...

This was a major reason why we purchased a Salem Hemisphere 263RL. We have very comfortable leather-like vinyl on the couch and we have two recliners in the rear living area. All we would have been able to get with the 27RLWS would be the swivel chairs. You might want to check into the recliners we have. They are the same as in the Vibe. They are smaller than the Lazy Boy recliners that are available in many units, so they fit well in the living area. They are free-standing and easy to move. They may fit better than the larger recliners in the area where your couch is located. Good luck with it!

I have a Windjammer & like you I hated the sofa also. Pulled it out, only 2 screws holding it in & replaced it with a wall hugger reclining sofa. Before picture

These are the recliners I was talking about yesterday. They are the same as available in the Vibe.

We finally replaced the couch! It took some time to make a decision on what to buy. The deciding factor came down to the width of the slide. We went with two recliners purchased from Rooms To Go. Removing the couch was much much easier than anticipated! Turns out the mfr never bolted it to the floor. We slid it forward, removed the back (two cotter pins), pulled the mattress out. Then removed the seat. To do that we lifted the seat from the front and then pushed one side forward until the post slid out of the groove. Then we picked it up and angled it out the door. Too simple!

The new chairs came in assembled. I built them individually inside the trailer.
We will try them out soon!Click image for larger version
