Update to Update: We solved the problem with our slideout not retracting properly.
The trailer is fine -- the problem was mine. Because we do not tow the trailer I attempted to stabilize our "Cottage" last June by building 2 wooden pedestals and
placed them under the tail end of the frame where scissor jacks could be attached. It turns out that I made them a touch too high with the 12" lengths of 2" x 4" wood. Apparently, the rear corner on the door side was just that bit {2 1/2"} high so that when I retracted the dining slide it shifted forward and would not track properly. Today when I removed the pedestals the slide realigned itself. When I extended the slide and then retracted everything moved smoothly and sealed tight all around the perimeter. In summary after our first summer in the 27RLWS the only factory fault was the kitchen drawers were not secured and tilted when opened. It was an easy fix to add a small piece of wood under the thin shelf for the drawer frame screw to bite into and not pull out. We are also very happy with the after sale service and attention we have received from Prairie Sky RV in Coaldale, Alberta. Chase and his crew helped me with advise and recommendations several times. When I presented the slide problem to him initially he was accomodating and considerate even though their shop was very busy. We had what I consider to be the best of customer service in all aspects of our new Flagstaff 27RLWS adventure. Thanks to all who commented and offered advise. Have a safe winter and ask Santa to give us an early/long summer next year.

That's great to hear. Our drawers came apart during the walk through. Seems they placed the screw through the thick wood into the thin wood. I just reversed the screw so it bites into the thicker wood.

No need to get alarmed. Not all trailers are the same, and the problems that one has might not show up in yours. For instance, in my case the only problems I had with mine were the radio (up an quit one fine day with no explanation - replaced under warranty) and the oven (never worked right - replaced along with the stove top, under warranty after a lot of trial and error waste of time).

Enjoy the trailer and be prepared to baby it and perform some work yourself even if it appears to be a warranty item (if you are handy that is) since the dealers either are too busy and will waste too much camping time, or they are lacking in competence to do the job right the first time. RV quality standards are pretty low - construction or dealer representation.
