27RLWS -lack of Diamond Plate

We are scheduled to pick up our new 27RLWS(Emerald Package) on April 5th. We fell in love with this unit at first sight & neglected to notice the curvature on the front end. In speaking to the dealer I am told that they are unable to install a diamond plate guard on this unit due to the curve. I contacted Forest River with my concern and their response was "We have not had a problem with any damage to pur models due to a lack of "Diamond Plate Protection". If you run across an issue due to this please contact me" Has anyone had any experience with this model trailer.

Have been told that I could spray Plasti Dip clear on the front of the lower portion of the trailer & if I do not like it I could peel it off.
