2nd trip out, what a mess

Well we purchased the trailer used and the kitchen faucet had bee replaced by the original owner to a high rise faucet that the wife did not like. The night before the trip I replaced the faucet with a standard style and did not test for leaks. We got to Arkabutla lake and proceded to set up and a shower came in. During the shower I failed to ask the wife to watch for leaks when I turned the city water on. As we were setting up we had some very nice neighbors come by to chat and after a few minutes I was asked "why is that water coming out of your trailer?

hmmm maybe becasue I let a plastic washer fall (watch those little things) out during the new faucet installation? yep I think so and very glad I carried the small wet dry vac in the truck this trip.

All in all we had a great time after cleaning up the mess I caused.

Back to Arkabutla next weekend and the Nashville koa the next.

Mike

We all have stories like that. Someone should write a book of RV mistakes. Maybe I'll start collecting stories.

Reminds me of the time the lp gas alarm woke us up around 3am. Couldn't find it. Blew into it. It stopped and then started again. Switched off the H2o heater and later learned the wind was blowing wrong direction. Made aluminum deflector and no problems.

At least you had an excuse for flooding the camper. I woke up in the middle of the night went to the bathroom and after washing my hands went back to bed. Well it seems I forgot to turn the water all the way off. Filled the tub and was over flowing until my wife got up. I thought I was next to a fire siren. We used evry towel, throw rug. and a couple of my tee shirts to clean up that mess. Funny now not then.

Ok now to explain The cook Is Greg aka Screamin Eagle. The second pic is Greg and His GREAT wife Meliea. The third pic is me and my boss Glennette.

This was a few weeks ago at the Nashville KOA where we drove up to see our good friends.

Now if we could get Greg to spend the money and buy that toy hauler he wants.
