3-step entry unit broken

does anyone know the brand of and where to get replacement "rivets" for the 3-step entry unit on the Flagstaff?

The top step left side rivet broke off...sigh...

Believe I've read that many have drilled the rivets out and replaced them with grade 8 nuts and bolts. Much stronger

While you're at it, grind off all the rivets, drill the holes to 5/16" and install short bolts and locking nuts before you fall and break your neck.

Yes, just drill the rivets out with a sharp 5/16" bit and get some 5/16x1 gr 8 bolts and locknuts. Did that the day we got our 5er home when it was new.
