5th wheel 6100 miles 8528RKWS

Just returned from 6100 miles Indy to California and back. 5 weeks - all to see grand daughter. Toss in Lake Tahoe, Yosomite and wale watching in our 5ver 32' Flagstaff. Only problem is single AC does not keep up with higher temps. But once sun goes down sleeping is fine. Refrig on propane did great job and fireplace took off morning chill.

Two gems along the way to see on I-80 North Platte NB train switch yard. Borax visitor off Hwy 58 near Death Valley CA. Did not do Death Valley Museum. Calico Ghost town was nice cmpground too.

All gas was under $3 average was $2.49.

frig on Propane while traveling

I used propane for the refrig while we traveled. Temps got up to 100 at times. If I go to coldest the refrig will go down to 32 and freeze some things near the top.

I am still on first 30# propane tank and not sure how much is left. So my estimate is that the refrig ran at least 90 hours or more.

Don. Glad your trip went well. I can't wait to see your camper. Maybe someplace next year.
