5th wheel hitches

I have always had a towable trailer with a Load Leveler Hitch. So I have a 2002 Chevy Crew Cab 2500HD with a Duramax and Allison trans. and we just bought 8528CKWS 31 ft. And I bought the Andersen Hitch setup. My handbook on the truck says it is rated GCWR of 20,000 LBS. Between truck and trailer it looks like the GCWR is at the most 18,000 lbs. So any thoughts on this setup? Seems like Andersen has good to excellent reviews.
