5th wheel squeaks.........ALOT

Took our flagstaff 8528bhws out this weekend. I noticed it before but this trip I really noticed how loud the squeaking is. This has the Reese revolution hitch on it, so it is pivoting under the camper, not in the truck bed. That is where the noise seems to come from. I don't see how to grease it and was wondering if anyone could advise me. TV is a 2013 ram 1500 which really tows it beautifully, and there is very little to no sag in the truck when connected. So I ruled out an angle putting undue stress on the connection. It really sounds more like a grease issue.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Andy

On my Rockwood it squeaks too. You can hook up the camper and take it to a parking lot, turn hard over and spray some lithium greese in too the Reese revolution part. Then go and turn hard over to the other side and do it again. That helps. Their are several threads on this issue. I also seemed to notice that the more I use the camper. The less it squeaks. Good luck...

X2, had mine disassembled last year at Goshen by the 2 guys that designed it and they cleaned and lubed the flat surfaces and said NEVER LUBE THE PIVOT SHAFT! Haven't heard a peep out of it in over 6,000 miles since.
