First of all, to the forum and sorry to hear about your delam issue.

I haven't been reading about vey many delam issues in the last year or so, or at least not nearly as many as I use to. I guess they have improved in that area.

What year is your tt and do you have any pics you can post?

Delam can be cause by several different things. Do you know what has caused yours?

It seems FR has been pretty good when it comes to fixing tt's with delam issues, so maybe they will help you out as well.

Just thought to add;
To receive help from FR you'll need to go through your dealer. Take pics and document everything, then get in touch with your dealer to see what they have to say.

Our Rockwood went back to the factory twice for sidewall replacement. Very frustrating, but following the second replacement, we have not had any issues.

Had both sidewalls recently replaced at the Millerburg IN plant. Contact your dealer and have them contact the factory for repairs. You want to have this repaired properly or it will get worse.

Is anybody know how they replace walls on already built trailers? Our back wall was replaced also and it seem to me that it is quite a big job involvement. With all the cabinets inside to remove etc. The trailer has almost to be destroyed in this process.

I thought the same thing until we saw the finished results of sidewall replacement. Yes it is a major repair but this is done at the factory where they are made. They are tooled for this job and I was told that the most experienced workers get placed on these teams. Ours was done in about 2 weeks. The workmanship was outstanding.

Our 2010 Salem developed a leak in the roof of the front slide from defective tape job on the roof. It started delaminating in August. The dealer was notified right off and it took them until the first week of November to decide to ship a new wall to the dealer for them to replace here in their shop.
Not heard if the wall has been shipped yet.......Waiting for the phone to ring just any day.

We have been fighting with our dealer here in Canada (Paradise RV Red Deer, Alberta) for 3 years over delam issues. They decided to use a local body shop to fix it both times. If we wanted the wall replaced we were told the frieght charges (around 4500.00) would have to come out of our own pocket. The first repair was made, the wall cracked and the repair sunk and more delam appeared. The second delam and repairs to the first delam problems were repaired but the wall looks like crap now. We can see exactly where the repair was made. Dealer told me that was all they can do for us. Can't get a definate reason for the delam, only possible causes. Back to Forest River to see what they will do.

A few reason that I know regarding delamination: water finding its way inside the wall and roof and also I heard of bad gluing process at the factory causing the glue to give up.
