831RESS vs 831RKBSS

dang it. looking down the road a year or 2 to my next camper... I want the bedroom/bathroom from the 831rkbss but the lr/kitchen from the 831ress... I don't think I can give up my pass thru storage for longer items, and the full width bedroom closet is a real plus for our month long trips. too much to ask I guess... will keep watching the mfg website to see if any new floorplans like I want pop up. Not sure why Flagstaff has similar but different bedrooms on such comparable models. I would they they would want to standardize as much as possible but what do I know.

I did find a Keystone Laredo 314re that hits a lot of items on my wish list but no local dealers for them around me.

Steve, we have the 831RESS and love the double slide living room. It has lots of storage cabinets on the rear wall. I agree that the pass through up front is hard to give up. I had one on my previous tt.

As for bedroom storage, we took a 3-week trip this year and my wife actually admitted that she took along too much clothes, and we had room to spare.

Keep shopping and the perfect one will show up eventually.

Not only would you give up the exterior pass thru storage but also the exterior access under the bed- the exterior frig and exterior access above the bumper to under the kitchen counter.
Remember the kitchen area is separate from the living area which is separate from the bedroom/bathroom area. The 831RKBSS has a wonderful floorplan with tons of kitchen cabinet space- bathroom linen closet- bedroom 8 drawer dresser etc...
Happy trails,
