8528rkws Bed removal?

I would like to replace the carpet in our 5th wheel bedroom and was wondering if anyone has removed the bed to do this? It doesn't look like it would go out the man door?

We are considering replacing the carpet in the bedroom also in our Flagstaff 8528RKWS and will just cut around the bed leaving the carpet under the bed.

I thought of doing that too but think it will be easier to lift out the bed and lay a flat square piece in. Actually we were hoping that the vinyl would have carried all the way through and just gotten rid of the carpet.
So the plan today will be to remove the mattress and slide the recliners towards the couch and bring the bed frame down into the lower living area. {ics to follow!

Well the bed can be moved down to the living area with no problems, but the tall wardrobe seems to have some structural purpose as once all visible screws were out still very ridged and would not come out.
Sure happy we went this route, here are a few pics of the old carpet coming out. The carpet sure is wanting in the quality department. New carpet in but forgot to take pics, tomorrow.

This would have been a good time to put down some of that thin foil insulation stuff under the carpet pad.

If my camper lasts long enough to need new carpet I'm gonna do that.

All done, went okay would use carpet boards to stretch carpet. Not sure if this will last but still able to get boards under if need be. Here is what it looks like.....way better look and quality.

Thanks, we also replaced the slide out carpet. Does anyone no why there is a 13" piece of carpet all along the front edge? I didn't replace that as I could not see the reason for it. We have the bumpers that lift the slide over the main floor so there are no rollers to deal with. Makes the area look so much bigger even though it is only a small strip of carpet removed.
