A/C trouble

A/C will not cycle in 85 degree weather. anyone else? we have a new 8528ikws.

Set your thermostat for 75 if the outside air temp is 85. It will cycle provided there is not an air leak between the input and output plenums.

Setting the thermostat colder than that will cause frost on the cooling fins that will shut off the compressor. The fan will run but no cooling till the frost melts.
