Drawer fronts were ordered direct from Forest River.
I used the same fronts as furnished on the kitchen cabinets. They are pre-finished, but a bit too wide to fit the nightstand opening.
Cut them down to the width to fit the night stand. Self closing hinges from Home Depot.
We converted both sides. The curb side has water fill lines running thru it. Just caulk/seal around the openings where the lines come thru the wood and carpet.
There will be extra slack in the electrical lines when you move the plugs inside the opening...just push the wire down into the pass thru and secure.
The extra space is very useful, we use it every night.
We also converted the "fixed" door front near the floor, below the radio, to a hinged door (It had 4 hinges permanently fastening it to the cabinet frame). I just removed 2 of the 4 hinges and added a knob. All the manuals, instructions and paper work now go in there.
