Attachable kitchen counter for v-lite 30WTBS

We recently bought a used v-lite bunkhouse travel trailer (2011 V-Lite 30WTBS). On the end of the kitchen counter there are two brackets for what I'm assuming is additional attachable counter space. Our trailer didn't come with this. Can someone with this sort of counter tell me if it's super useful and if so, where I could find the replacement.Click image for larger version

I don't have that option in my 27RLWS and really wish I had that extra little bit of counter space.

They are very useful. I'd scour all your storage areas first, as they are a bit of a pain to find the sweet spot for storage. If not, contact the seller if possible or, last resort, contact FRiver.

We ordered it with the TT. It was cheap enough( $40). Figured if we wanted it after the fact it would be $$ and maybe hard to get with the same Corian material as the counter tops. We store it in the wardrobe /w the leg at the right extension. We use it pretty regularly, especially if it is an extended stay. I'd think if you had the brackets somewhere you have the piece. Compartments, under mattresses, bunks?

Fonzie, like the link to the quick pins. I get it!

We find the counter extension Very useful...even for the two of us.
It seems to be a personal thing if they are useful or not.
IMO.... they will get used more if they are not stored away in a closet or under a bed.
That's why I made some custom brackets to hang ours close by where it gets used. "see picture" (if anyone is interested in storage brackets ask and I will post more pictures and description)
With the single leg it has a wobble when weight is applied in the wrong spot and can cause a spill.... so an anti-wobble feature is a must...several ways to achieve that.

Hope you find one... it is nice to have the extra work surface.

PS in the picture the slide is in , the counter extension mounts around the corner to the left...when the slide it out.

Not sure where to get the extension, but we have found it very useful. We have a Windjammer 3001W and it stores nicely on it's edge in the closet in the bathroom. Maybe contacting Forest River would get you some leads on where to find one.

You could use custom piece of counter (or a cutting board) with folding shelf brackets on the side of the existing counter.

Islander - I like your idea. Please show the brackets you installed. I'm assuming they are just like the brackets used to hold it as an extension, but attached to the underside of the counter top, but pictures would be great. Thanks.
