Awning tie downs.

Any one use tie downs on elec. awnings? We have two elec. awnings on our 8528. They flap some even in light wind.

Made tie down poles out of PVC pipe. Cost about 20.00 and use a rachet strap over the awning ends to an anchor.

i recently purchased a tie down package at walmart, for like $15. It comes with two screw in anchors that go into the ground. Was going to buy the ones used for dogs but this was cheaper. Then it has string that goes from the anchor to the awning. wasnt really interested in the string set up, but again two dog anchors was more than this package, so i bought a 4 pack of ratchet straps for $10 to use instead, only need two but can always use extras. Haven't used them yet but they should work just fine.
