Our first season camping and with our new 23fb is going by quickly!
We mostly have done weekend getaways just an hour or so away from our home but this weekend we leave for our longest excursion and possibly our last one for the season.
Heading out for 4-days in the Lake George region of NY, then making a quick stop back home for a day, then up to the White mountain area of New Hampshire for 5-days.
So far we have camped for 19 nights this season (not including the upcoming trip) and visited 9-different campgrounds.
Most have been decent, a few have been exceptional and will be first on the list to book for next year.
We had a few learning curves to get past but we seem like seasoned pros now (at least in our minds anyway
)
Suffered the usual first timers mistakes at the dump stations and the normal learning how to back up a trailer *discussions* with the DW but all in all its been great.. All accept the camping season here in New England is really short!
Absolutely no issues at all with our ML23fb, everything has been perfect and our local dealer has helped out with the one minor issue we had (cracked taillight cover)
We might get out one more time after this next trip, but most campgrounds around here close up the first week of October.... But we will certainly try to squeeze one more in.
It's been a blast!
