Do you wash your rig before a trip?

I've always wondered how many rv'ers wash their rigs before going on a trip? I'm fortunate that I have a building to keep mine in. As soon as we get home from a trip, I'll wash it from top to bottom. Then put it away clean. The BOSS cleans the dishes and towels and such and packs them away for the next trip. As for the bed linens, she'll wait until closer to the next trip to wash them so they'll be clean and fresh. I'll wash the TV and clean it up inside/out and then almost cry when we go through the first rain and the truck/TT get filthy.

What do you do?

Wash every time. It's my house. Plus washing anything is the best way to give it a close look for problems or soon to be problems.

Wash the day we get home from a trip. Bugs come off easier that way. Depending on how dirty might wash before the trip again.

always wash it before putting up and then wash it again before pulling away on a trip. I'll drive the truck and 5th wheel to a car wash and use the pressure washer there to get the bugs off the nose cap and front of the truck and then head back home for a hand wash.

Kept in a barn when in Indiana. Always put up clean. Maybe I catch a Blue Beacon or another truck wash close to home or wash myself.

All laundry is generally done the day before we get home. We have washer & dryer.

When on the road or in Florida will generally catch a Blue Beacon every other week. If plan is to do an extended stay. I'll always get it washed ahead of getting to the park.

On a couple of occasions I've had mobile company wash & wax it at the park.

I always wash the trailer before I leave and when I return from a trip. Inside gets cleaned when we return as well.

Wash when I return, and spend the next week cleaning inside, and getting ready to go. It's always ready to hook onto and roll when the weather indicates that the nut cases will be off the river... ie mid-week after holidays and a touch rainy or cool...

I will run it through the local blue beacon as needed. It gets a thorough wash and waxtwice a year, usually right before some form of rally or get together.

Terier - I could use your guys!

I'm lucky because its not even a part of our contract. They do it just to make it a little easier for me, even during winter.

Wash outside once or twice a year maybe . Inside gets cleaned before & after use. Got half the outside washed over the weekend, just not enough time in the day. The other half may get washed this Fall. Awning got its first wash...

Looking for the day of retirement so I can say gee now that I'm retired I don't know when I had time to work (7 years to go).......... Speaking of that off to work...... was supposed to be off today but ..........
