Dog Ramp

Has anyone built a dog ramp for the steps on a 5th wheel to allow the dog to walk dog by himself. If so would like to see some photos of the ramp.

We use a tri fold plastic ramp to in rv or the truck. It's light small enough great traction for dogs.

We made one for our aging pup out of a piece of plywood about 8" wide.
It was wide enough for the dog but also for us to still use the steps.
I glued indoor/outdoor carpet on for traction.
It was long enough to fit against the front of the top step and went to the ground. I made it so it had a metal bracket that 'clipped' to the second and first step. You kind of slid it down on from the top and it locked onto the step.

Sorry I don't have any pictures and gave it away after we had to put the dog down a couple years ago. It also worked well for her to get in the back seat of the TV.

I bought an aluminum ramp used for putting something in a pickup. Light and easy to store in pass through. He had leg surg. and @ 75# a little heavy to carry up into RV. Harbor Freight.

I built this very cheap and easy and appreciated by our older four legged family member.
Gone but not forgotten.
