Door Lock problem

Not sure if anyone has this same problem or we are just weird. Our trailer only has one entrance door. The outside of the door has two key locks, one is for the dead bolt lock, the other for the latch lock. On the inside of the trailer there is only ONE lock switch, which appears to lock both the dead bolt and the latch lock. This lock switch is at the bottom of the inside door latch. On occasion the door will lock behind us, not sure if it’s from shutting the door too hard or somehow partially moving the lock switch on the inside when leaving and it trips when the door is shut. Has anyone had this same problem?

Sounds like something might be loose on the inside. Are the screws on the interior door latch tight?

No don't have that issue...... but if you lock the outside handle (non deadbolt) it will lock when you close the door..... There is only the deadbolt latch inside (only locks the deadbolt)...

Otherwise check to make sure nothing is loose........

Good Luck
