drilling holes in roof of 2013 Flagstaff 206ST Tent camper

RE: Voiding warranty. Does anyone know if drilling holes in the pop-up (not done by a dealership) would void warranties? I want to install a rack system on top of my camper for hauling "toys". I have researched non-drilled type systems, but I am concerned with how these systems attach, and if they would stay secure. If anyone has any ideas regarding this type of installation, that would be great also! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Laura

I would avoid ANY penetrations into a roof of an RV. That just means more possibilities for leaks.

I would think so. On our previous TT (not a FR product) any modification not done by factory or dealer would void the warranty on that component.

Probably your first concern is how much weight you intend to carry? They fit A/C units up there but they come with specialized reinforcement bars fitted to the underside. Something like a bicycle would have quite a bit of pendulum stresses on the structure maybe causing cracking. Why not call someone in Flagstaff FR and ask about it. You could cover warranty questions at the same time.
