I have a Therma Heat electric fireplace model fp23-02r in my Flagstaff 8528ikws. Anyone know of a suitable replacement? Mine destroyed by electrical overload.

Tried calling LaSalle Bristol they no longer carry fireplace inserts. Found a duraflame fireplace insert on line thru Wal-Mart. My wife and I recently changed rv lots at the resort we have been staying at. Same 30 amp breaker and plug in . Unfortunately box at new lot had been changed to 240 volt. Blew out converter, flat screen, microwave and fireplace. Electrical overload!!!

Found a replacement thru Wal-Mart. $189.00. Same dimentions

Recommend you get a Hughs Autoformer with EMS before you plug in new Electrics.

Also, call Flagstaff, they might sell you a new fireplace for a lot cheaper than retail.
