Electrical

I am looking for a electrical diagram for my 2008 Flagstaff classic super lite 8524rkss. Seems like my refrigerator, 12v lights, and water pump won't work when I run off battery. Anyone know what the problem might be?

Check resettable breaker under frame near hitch.

Check to insure the battery disconnect switch is on.
Check to two high current ( 30-40A) fuses in the distribution panel.

Wiring diagrams are almost non-existent, especially older units.

As Flybob mentioned, sounds like you have a tripped 12v circuit breaker or corroded connections at one of them. I've seen photos where the attaching lugs were almost completely rusted away.

If you have a multimeter and know how to use it, you can trace the wiring from the battery to the converter and through to each 12v circuit.

Best of luck and let us know what you find.

I forgot to mention I can run the slide out and the front jacks off of 12v so it isn't totally gone.

Did you find the breaker described above? That is most likely your issue.

These two items are usually connected directly to the battery via a fused cable so if the battery is good they will work.

The slides and jacks may be wired direct to the battery with their own breaker, like others have said check the breakers and connections, check your batter disconnect.

The 30A fuse by the battery box upfront is good. I have continuity on the negative from battery to the circuit breaker/fuse compartment but not on the positive (red wire). Have not been able to find a inline circuit breaker or disconnect switch which I think must be the issue. Don't really know where to look for this.

Did you push the small button on the side of the resettable breaker?

Visually trace the positive cable from the battery inside your battery compartment you find the breaker/resetable fuse. Since you have a 5er you may have a different style than those in Flybob's photo.

Good news. After hours of searching and troubleshooting, I finally found the culprit, Inside the front king pin assembly there is a little 40a circuit breaker. At first I thought it was just a terminal block but it actually is a little breaker and it was tripped. Pushed the little button in and everything worked just fine. Thanks for all of you for helping.
