Have another question about the 14FK. I can't remember what I was told.
The water heater...
Does it run off the 12v batteries when NOT hooked-up to shore power and the external electrical switch is turned on?
Thanks in advance.

Your water heater is either propane ONLY or Propane and 110v AC electric.
It does not run on 12v battery power. BUT the propane side does use 12v battery power to ignite the propane.

Forgot something about the Flagstaff E Pro 14 footer.
The spare tire holder underneath keeps getting loose and letting the spare drop down.
Advise all owners to keep a close eye on this. Ours has dropped down two times. While my campers is up for the winter I will work on a fix for this. It could be dangerous.
Just a heads up to everyone.

We have a 19FD with two 6 volt golf cart batteries and an additional 85 watt solar panel on the roof. The Charge controller recognizes our two batteries as one. If you check the Go power manual it will tell you how to set the controller to recognize more then one battery if your coach is wired like that. Further to the discussion about percentage of battery remaining. I would suggest that that is a rather meaningless number, the real number you need to pay attention to is the voltage remaining. Remember that in many cases 100% charge will include surface charge and this will decrease rapidly when any appliance is powered up. It makes sense, if no power is coming in and power is being used the battery bank will be reduced. If your bank is limited to one battery there is not a lot of reserve. But also if your battery voltage remains at over 12 you are fine. We like to keep ours above 12.3 but there are times when that is not possible. A good deep cycle battery can be drawn down to 12 or even 11.7 volts a number of times before they fail. But, I recommend not doing that if possible.
I am interested in what people who are using Lithium phosphate batteries are experiencing. Anybody?

Thank you, excellent tip. I have not checked ours. The 19fd also has the spare tire underneath.

Bill, you are right keeping your battery(s) above 12.3 v. Drawing down to 12.06v is 25% state of charge, undesirable for flooded batteries, seriously compromises number of charge/discharge cycles before they go bad and need to be replaced.

My first stop for fuel, on the way back from the dealer, I checked this because I had heard about this from a lady on a YouTube video in the North East. She said that hers was not secure.
Sure enough, I had to tighten mine as well. I gave it a good heave-ho and it had remained tight ever since, even after about 900 miles.
Have to wait until next year to see if it is going to stay secure.

Picked up my first trailer, 2018 e-pro 14fk, late spring, have close to 4500 miles on it already and only had a few issues so far -- the spare tire dropping (solved that by tossing tire in back of pickup), the 12 volt receptacle for the television being too big or loose so the plug kept falling out and banging against the wall while traveling (being replaced while unit in for winterizing), and the television swinging on the mounting arm while traveling (solved by installing a strap to keep it in place). Other than those issues, love the trailer.

Farmersam, you might want to check the TV mounting arm. It is designed to 'snap' into place. If it does not lock then your lock on the arm might be broken. I am not sure how to describe this but the 'snap' bit looks like a bit like a circle with almost half of it removed and their is a corresponding bit opposite this that fits into the open bit. Their is a male and a female bit where one fits into the other. If anyone else can describe it better please do. What I am trying to say is that you should not need a strap to hold your tv in place. Hope you are having fun with your new unit. We sure like our 19fd.

Thanks for your post. We plan on checking our spare tire mount before heading out on our next trip! We are still enjoying our 14FK! There are several new floor plans coming out in 2019, one of which has our interest - the E Pro 15TB! It isn’t much larger than ours, but inches count in such a small space. Happy camping!

I can see how the TV might jar loose. The 12-volt receptacle is too loose in my unit as well. It fell out and banged against the wall. Easy fix...put it in the drawer. The TV did not pop out of that place-holder against the wall though. But, the advice about a strap is defiantly sound.

I did not see the 15's until I was home from the dealer. Although, I still believe the 14 was the best choice for me.

Fuel mileage on 14fk
Hi group. We our looking to purchase a 14fk or 15tb tomorrow. Like the 15tb but looking for answer on ruff milage and what tv using to finalize our decision. 14 is narrower and would tuck better in behind 2019 ranger but like the storage in the 15tb. Either would work for us, so comes down to fuel cost. Thanks for any help. Very late and big decision to make soon. 15tb would be about 9in each side over hang width vs about 2 inch per side
