Fitting Two Batteries Side by Side

I want to mount two GC2 batteries side by side on a MicroLite 2017/18 25BDS tongue which has limited space. Single battery boxes that fit two batteries end to end are hard to fine. Century Plastics makes one in white which would look silly when all my other plastics are black. Two standard battery boxes side by side have too wide a gap in between usually due to covers being too wide relative to the boxes. With limited width and depth in the battery space, WTH are the best solutions to fit two batteries end to end? Thx in advance.

Product Dimensions: 48.75”(L) X 15.25”(W) X 15” (H)

Some one here modified a tool box to fit dual batteries and a disconnect switch.

The above box may not work for you but I hope it is something you can work off of, smaller or bigger as you need.

I have seen posts on another site where one member used a plastic tool box found at Lowes to hold two deep cycle batteries.

Late reply but I built a rack using galvanized slotted angle attached to the top of the front frame using self-tapping screws. All it takes is a hacksaw and a driver/drill.

Everbilt 1-1/2 in. x 60 in. Zinc-Plated Slotted Angle 18240 at The Home Depot - Mobile

It holds two G27s in Attwood trolling battery cases separated by a G24 battery box in which I mounted a marine battery switch and store related junk. I used trolling motor battery cases because I have a different purpose for the batteries while not camping.

Alternatively, paint the white box with Plasticote?
