Flagstaff 26FKWS skirting

I bought a new 2015 Flagstaff 26FKWS in the spring after downsizing from a 33' trailer and loved the layout from looking at dozens of others. One major flaw in the manufacturing and or workmanship related to the fitting and furnishing of the skirting. Most of the support brackets had come loose or in one case wasn't fastened on one end. Another design issue related to the narrow space between the rear end of the main slide skirting and the front drivers side tire. Finally there are no support brackets on the skirting on the main slide and while driving in strong crosswinds noticed it flaring out at quite an angle. Those things all re fastened fitting and repaired makes for one great trailer that has an amazingly interior space with minimal foot print. We spent 40 nights in it this year and love it!

When I was at the dealer over the summer, they had a 27RLWS where the entire curb side lower flare completely tore off while driving down the highway. Mine are still holding tight.

Happened to me about an hour and a half after taking delivery in May. Got a new one finally after winterizing end of Sept.

I cannot emphasize enough buying from a dealer you can work with. I asked the dealer about what he would charge to install 3 or 4 brackets to stiffen the side trim on the slide out and they said it was going to be covered under warrantee, I like that! I have owned 2 Coachmen trailers in the past and they all had issues until they were fixed and in both cases the dealers were excellent in getting the issues fixed even though some of the repairs continued after the warrantee expired to get it right. When you buy a trailer you need to go over it and use it a lot during the warrantee period because after the year is up even a good dealer can't help you.

We bought our 2015 - 26FKWS Flagstaff last May, spent 40 nights in it. Get the defects repaired during your warranty and there will be some and enjoy!
