Flagstaff 30WFKSS V-Lite Upgrades and Additions 2015

Hello Everyone

It has been a while since I posted any upgrades or additions to my 2011 Flagstaff V-Lite 30WFKSS but many of you may remember the thread I started sometime back.

http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...ons-27865.html

I have created this new thread because I recently installed the SAM-1 upgrade kit for the range hood from Fabulous Operating Products (FOP)

You may have seen the recent article in Trailer Life magazine.

I have to say this is a great product. I will be adding more details here on my install for those who are interested but wanted to let you know this product is Fabulous and easy to install.

I have often thought that the vent fan was minimal at best and the SAM-1 offers multiple fan speeds, a very bright LED light that even has a night light setting.

Stay tuned.....
Happy Camping
BK

Looks great, my SAM-1 upgrade kit should be here today and I will probably start the install tomorrow. Kinda pricey @ $180 but we are tired of the noisy inadequate stock exhaust.

Where did you order from, is the manufacture site the only seller?

I just got it today from http://www.rvvent.com/fabulousoperat...ngproducts.htm

$180 including shipping IF you take pictures for them. $199 including shipping otherwise.

Kit looks good, will know tomorrow how it goes. According and inquiry I made with Fabulous Operating Products, you don't have to replace the outside vent, just remove the flapper door which I will gladly do.

Our 2011 Flagstaff vent fan is quite strong and works great. Wonder if yours was different.
