Flagstaff 831FKBSS

We just ordered our Flagstaff 831FKBSS. They are telling us it should take about 8 weeks before it arrives. We decided to go with the Cinnamon decor and opted for the Atrium slide w/free standing table and chairs. And a few other features. We can't tell you how excited we are placing this order. We shopped many dealers and decided on the Flagstaff or Rockwood. After shopping and getting quotes we were able to get the best deal on this 2008 TT for just over 20K.

I just have a couple of questoins.
1) Would you recommend the Create a Breeze fan in the kitchen area?
2) Has anyone purchased the extended warranty thru XtraRide and if so is it worth the money?
3)Any items I should be looking for when we pick up the new trailer? I printed out the PDI sheet off this site. It says it may take about 3hrs to go thru. Has anyone used this sheet when picking up their new TT.

Thanks for your help!

Hi JasonMi,

Congrats on the 831FKBSS. Sound like you made a good deal.

On your questions.
1) Create a Breeze fan, Not in the living area.

2) I bought the extra 1 year warranty from FR for $100(I've heard they upped it to $150, but not sure)
Most of the appliances have a 3yr. or more warranty anyway. In my opinion, the long term warranties are over priced.

3) I used a printed PDI also. It's a very good tool to have when doing the walk through. Also, take your camera and pin & paper. Make notes of things NOT correct and have the dealer sign it if they say they'll do the repairs at a later date.

Good luck,

Hello and welcome!
I have a Create a Breeze (Fantastic Fan) in my bath. It's a 3 speed, and I love it. It came installed when I bought the trailer new. My kitchen is close by, and it does a fine job of sucking out the kitchen odors, heat and moisture. (also great on bath odors and moisture)

When I open a window in the living room, turn on the fan in the bath, you can feel a breeze moving right through the trailer. Those fans will move some serious air! I think it would be great in or near the kitchen.

I added a MaxAir 800 vent cover to mine ($90) so the vent can be run even when it's raining. Nice.
