>>>PLEASE HELP<<< Flagstaff 831KRSS Ladder

Has anyone installed a ladder on there 831KRSS? If so what model and where did you get it from? I would like to slide my spare tire over and install a ladder. The dealer said that there were no supports on the back of the camper for a ladder. I do not want to cary around a portable ladder. Thanks for the help! Could you please post a pic also!

I use mine almost every trip. I always get up there to do an inspection upon arrival at my destination to look for damage and also a quick check right before departure to verify the antennae is down.

Just me though. I've never had a problem, I'm just very cautious.

I just purchased a Flagstaff 831krss and will pick it up tomorrow. One of the first things I asked was to have a ladder installed. I was told that the only place a ladder could be installed was over the window which was a fire hazard (the windows act as a fire escape?) so they weren't going to do it. This is my first time camping outside of a tent and I am real excited about taking my first trip to the Florida Keys. You said " I do not want to carry around a portable ladder " why would there be a need to climb up on the roof of your camper when your out and about? I was told about 2 times a year, get up on that roof and scrub the junk off the top so that it doesn’t slide down the sides. Other than investigating a leak or something dropping on the roof, I can't imagine why it would be necessary to have a roof ladder and need to o up there while on the road.
