Flagstaff color variation

I just completed washing and waxing my Flagstaff 2002 26ds and noticed that the front is more of creamy color and the sides and back are a bright white. I had to scrub pretty hard to get the dead bugs etc off. Did I scrub too hard or is this color variation normal?

The sides are fiberglass. The front cap is made of ABS plastic. The colors will actually be of a different shade. As time goes on, it will become a bit darker than the sides.

Interesting...is the fiberglass finish the same on the front as the sides?

Wondering if the sides (and rear?) are gel coat and the front cap is not.
