Flagstaff E-pro 14FK off road?

I am looking at the e-pro 14 but need to be able to take it off road. Not on major offroad adventures but want to be able to go wherever I want to go. The salesman says because of the torsion axle it would work but I am afraid the tires are too small. Does anyone have experience with this? Or know if larger tires could be put on or if I should get it lifted? And if any of this is possible?
