I don't understand the top/side mount. But I have a Flagstaff V-Lite with the Equalizer hitch and no problems at all mounting. Works great.

Thanks youroo for finding & posting that thread; very interesting reading. Just want to say on my Blue Ox, there is NO tilt to the hitch. It just adjusts straight up & down. It is set up level & the only adjustment I do is Number of chain links I catch on the chains. I'm on 6, sets level,tows perfectly & have NEVER had a problem hitching or unhitching. BTW, my TT receiver is on the bottom.

Mine is on the top, thank goodness. If it was on bottom I would need at least a 10 inch drop down or more....

Your rite Gashog it depends on how Tall your TV is,I had to add 4" on my Shank and like RR Man said everything I have got is a Bastard! My C to C spacing of my Reese is 15/16 every other one is 1-1/4 C to C! Luckey Me! We Vs have to stick together! Youroo!!
