Lost Faith in placing order today

This has shown me that I cannot order the hitch I want until the trailer actually shows up at the stealer. Yes, it does make a difference on the hitch. No, I don't want another Reese Straightline.

Was informed today by local salesman that no matter what you put on the order form, you get what shows up. Isn't that something along the line of theft?

The "Atrium Windows" checked on the order form on Aug 15 were discontinued back in June per another poster (search it). No pictures or description of any replacement is/was offered to this day.

Local guy says he's seen trailers come in that were brown instead of white. I can't even get them to leave off all the pretty swirley things on the sides that peal off in the heat and sun. Must pay to have them removed instead of just not getting them in the first place.

Bottom line is, if I'd known Forest River was this bad, I would not have tried to buy locally as they suggest and could have gotten what I wanted within 300 miles of here. To late now as down payment is not returnable per the sales order.

Very sad state of affairs! Rules of the site say no politics so I must stop there.

Flagstaff or Rockwood V-nose

I just got my 3029 two weeks ago. Coupler is on the top and I have the squeak-a-lizer hitch.

ID:	88279....but then again so are lobsters. Fortunately the TV pulls the V-Nose well and the WD hitch, TT and TV are all within correct tolerances. Being our first TT I'm still not clear what the advantage/disadvantage of top vs bottom...did I miss something in this THREAD?

Happy Trails

50 - 50

So far it looks like whatever comes down the line applies. I still can't order a hitch unless I ask and pay for two heads and request to ship the one back I don't need.

Of course, if trailer is true to form, it won't leave the stealer due to defective items and I'm looking at hiring a pro. to assist with PDI.

My count is 5 top and 5 under unless I missed someone.
