Floor vents for Heater

I have a 2011 Flagstaff 8528 TBWS fifth wheel. Not that it matters. But there is a floor vent right under the door of the fridge. A bunch of near misses and one direct hit with some spaghetti gravy in to the vent when opening the door. Does anybody have a clever way (that looks good) to cover the vent or better yet do they make a blank? I live in Louisisana so our heater doesn't run much! LOL.

I posted a similar question some time back and there were two good answers: insert a filter material inside the vent or replace the plastic vent with a metal one and use a magnetic cover. Here is that thread, Furnace Vent Covers. I went with the filter insert and it has worked out pretty good.

I went to a crafts store, purchased a 2x2 piece of stryafoam for about $2.00 that was enough to do 6 vents. Removed the vents cut the foam with a hot wire (kept wire hot with candle). Then I painted the up side brown, pushed into the vent secered with small piece of duck tape.
