I have a 2011 Flagstaff 5th Wheel, 8525 RKWS, and am having problems with sagging floors.

Forest River warranty division says they are willing to fix the problem, in Indiana, by adding more bracing, no questions asked.

We are full timers and have tried to find a rental rv at dealerships in several states, for the 5 weeks it will take, and have not been able to locate one.

Forest River says they can't "Put us up" and we cannot pay the $2,500 a week that we were quoted bya couple of the National RV Rental Companies.

What would the collective group do?

Friends and relatives, extended stay hotels, short term house rental, see a realtor and see if you can find a summer home for rent at one of the lakes around there.

Extended stay hotel will cost a lot LESS than $2500.

are you taking the trailer to Indiana or are they are using a transport company -see if they will pay you to take it in. there are extended stay hotels in the Elkhart area- I would question the 5 weeks - seems like a long time. JMHO

Full Timers I understand. Are you retired or working? If retired, and somewhat handy, get a real estate agent, and work a deal to repair a house that has been foreclosed on. Do some painting, cleaning, what ever it needs. There are ads in this area on Craig's List all the time to do this work. Now you will have to work a special deal to live in the house while you are doing the repairs. Also take a lot of pictures, before and after, as proof of the repairs.

I also hope Forrest River is toeing it back at their expense. And plan at least one more week for the trailer to travel. These trailers are towed from factory by independent people. Must own a 1 ton truck, with hitch and 5th wheel hitch. When your dealer gets a new trailer, maybe that driver will take it back to factory. May a be a few day wait. Also may have to wait on a driver to bring it back to you. Your 5 weeks may be 2 months.

This may not work for you, just a thought. Good Luck.
