Forest River 21RB Flagstaff

I am looking at a very early Forest River 21RB Flagstaff. The trailer was made in 1998. The unit appears to be in excellent condition. It was stored indoors until two years ago.

Your thoughts and concerns please. Price is 5000.

Seems like a way to jump in and try an RV without a huge cash layout.

Thanks

This is a 16 yr old unit. That seems high for price but I'm not really sure.
My biggest concern would be roof and window seals. They need periodic maint and at minimum I would think need to be redone.
Good Luck with whatever you decide

Do an online price research...see what it's selling for. Some banks have a loan value book.
What I believe is good, have a RV place check it out. May cost a little but could save you a lot. Have fun!

Unit looks to be in very good condition

Was made before the new plush interiors. Includes a "draw tite hitch". I can lift it easily. The big equalizing hithes are too heavy for me to lift easily. Are Draw-Tites any good? The unit has a dry weight of 2900 lbs.

Anybody know the tongue weight of a unit like this?

We are insisting that the unit pass an inspection as part of the sale.

Tongue weight will be generally 10-15% of the total weight.
