Not a whole lot of information in that article. Mine falls in that date range but I replaced the wheels about a week after I bought it to 15" wheels. Would still be nice to know.

Due to a possible wheel separation hazard, Forest River Incorporated has issued a voluntary recall for approximately 2,000 trailers equipped with Carlisle Toy Hauler series trailer wheels. These Cargo Mate, Continental Cargo, Rance Aluminum, and Rockport trailers may be equipped with wheel lugs that have not been tightened to a sufficient torque during the installation process. The wheel might become separated while the vehicle is in motion, possibly causing an increased risk that the trailer will become involved in an accident or creating a road obstacle for other motorists on the road. The recall is expected to begin later this month.

We had this issue with aluminum wheel on a brand new Wildcat Sterling from Dallas, OR. Now have new steel wheels on trailer and new tires due to tread separation on rest of cheap Trail America tires that Forest River put on their trailer. I wonder how I can find out what wheels I now have. does anyone have any ideas? the wheels were replaced by the tire distributor for Forest River.
thanks, doug

Does not seem to apply to FR campers

Here's some more information from the NHTSA. It looks like this applies to FR Cargo trailers and commercial trailers not camper trailers.

<snip>
....Forest River, Inc. is recalling 2,200 model year 2011 and 2012 trailers manufactured from Aug. 11, 2011, through April 11, 2012... <snip>

FR Travel trailers would all be 2012 model year - as new year models most often start in May of the previous year. i.e. my Shamrock 2011 was made in May 2010.
