S anyone having an issue with their fridge in a Flagstaff . My fridge is freezing when it's running...not just on the lowest setting, but the warmest setting too. Anyone have any ideas before I start tearing it apart?

The thermostat pad may be bad.

Not sure about the correct part name, but if you look on the fins in the bottom part of your fridge. You will see a small item with two wires going to it, this item is slid on one of the fins on the right side. If your fridge is a
Norcold, this item controls the temp setting. It may have gone bad, mine
did and began to freeze everything regardless of the setting on the fridge.

This item is easy to replace, it simply plugs in near the light. If you replaced it, MAKE SURE you put the new one in the exact place as the one you removed for this has a great bearing of the correct temp you set. You local RV store should have the replacement for around $10-20 dollars. I bought mine at Camping World. You need the Brand, model of your fridge when purchasing the new part.

You can test it by using a volt/ohm meter to read across the two wires, placing the item in a glass of water, pour warm water into the glass. You should see the reading CLOSE. Pour out the warm water, place ice cubes
into the glass pour water into the water with the thermostat pad, when the cold water comes into contact you should see the reading open.

I may have this in reverse about the testing, but you get my drift about the opening and closing of the cool and hot water.

Good luck

Thanks, I'll try that...I was hoping this would be too intensive.
