Furrion led indicator

Hello out there all you Furrion cable owners. History,
new trailer 2/15 about a month after owning it the LED light on the Furrion cord and trailer hookup went dead. Called Furrion a couple weeks ago they sent me a new cord and trailer outlet. Installed new outlet and cord . Wa la LED's light I send back the old cord. That night it rains I go out to check the LED's and they are dead. I quit. I will just live with it. I think the LED system is very touchy. As long as I know I have full 30 amp power from the pedestal I am good to go. Just curious any body else had the same problem? I checked all circuits and outlets everything is reading good.

Mine doesn't work either; just rely on my plug in surge protector.

Yep; socket fine, but the glitzy LED stopped working after a month.

Yes, all here are correct. Same thing happened with mine. If the cord end with the LEDs gets wet, they stop working. Usually that end is under the door of the power pedestal, but when it happened to mine, I was using an extension cord so the Furrion plug and the extension plug connection was exposed to the elements. Furrion sent me a new cord, and now if I use an extension, I wrap the connection up with some plastic bags or cover it with a bucket.

Kind of strange, isn't it? When I was on the phone with them getting my original cord swapped out, and the tech said that it wasn't supposed to get wet, I laughed and said "but it's a camper cord. It is supposed to outside!".

No issue with my led's, however I don't rely on them as I have a Progressive remote display mounted near my control panel. Tells me everything I need to know...
