Gap in slide corners
After our first time traveling in the rain to the campground we had a wet floor and damp slide carpet upon arrival. I looked around the outside of the slide and the bottom seal appeared to be messed up in the lower rear corner. I took it to the dealer for them to fix it. They removed part of the seal and reinstalled it. Just got back from another trip of traveling in the rain and had the same issue of wet floor and carpet. After looking around I noticed I can see an inch or two of daylight from the inside the camper in both lower corners. One is above the wheel on my 25BHS, which I'm assuming is throwing up water when driving in the rain. Anyone else have this issue? Should I be able to see daylight from the inside of the camper?

I had the exact same problem, underneath there is a piece of hard 45 degree rubber attached to the frame, it IS NOT part of the lower sweep, when the slide is in it fills that hole you are seeing. Just had to replace one that fell off If you crawl under with the slide out you will see it in that corner it's about 6x6 at a 45 degree angle. When mine fell off some how I had a 2x2 gap there. You might be able to move that farther back to the rear frame with it extended or the screws are loose.....

I have the same problem on my brand new fifth wheel. I just haven't had time to take it back to the dealer to be dealt with. Witch Doctor, where can I find those 45 angle pieces you speak of ?

I have the same issue and it has been to the shop three times to be fixed. Hasn't been corrected yet. It is going back to the factory for this and a multitude of other problems once we wrap up camping season in a couple of weeks.

Here are some pictures from the outside. Is something missing? I'm going to call the dealer tomorrow to make an appointment.

My unit is 2012, yours is a 2015, FR made a change during that period on the corner pieces when the slide is closed. The reason I know this is because I called my stealer, and tried to order what I needed. Fr sent them a 18" long piece of really dense foam about 1"x1". It has a sticky back on one side. That is supposed to stick to the frame and doesn't move with the slide. It fills the gap when the slide is in stopping the water leak plus any critters from making your camper home. They ordered it 3x's for me and kept getting the samething sent to them from the factory. They went out and checked a new unit and told me that is what they are using now. I installed and cut 3 pieces and just pressed them together. It worked and blocked my hole but it was the wrong app. for my unit. When I went to the factory for my new roof, they installed the correct 45 degree angle piece. I thing I still have a short piece in my trailer, I will check in AM if I do i will post a picture of what they kept getting and what is used on the newer models. I will also see if I can take a picture of what i'm talking about that the factory installed. You could see how big my gap was, I use to stick a sponge in the hole inside a sandwich bag for travel and storage to block that hole. If you look at the last picture posted it would be glued to the right frame of the trailer under the sweep on the bottom if that what I'm looking at hard to tell....Check the thread in the late AM and I will try and get you a picture of both....

Your sponge in a sandwich bag is a great idea until it's fixed properly. I'll check back for photos.
Thanks

Sorry it took so long, but I had a long Dr. appointment today. The first picture is the new density foam I told you about in 2012 they had the same thing but you will see a plate that it sits on and behind the plate is a piece of 6" long wiper rubber screwed to the plate then screwed to the frame, it doesn't move with the slide. I think you might need the first picture. it comes in a 18" long piece. I think that the old one is better myself. hope this helps you... The one thing is that I have about 21/2" between my wall and slide your unit might only be 1" or so.... Also you can see how much bigger my foam is then the newer models they kept sending me. But I also lost that plate for some reason.
